Check it Out Spotlight:

Salut, investors and entrepreneurs!    I wanted to spotlight another one of my favorite investor educational podcast, How I Built This with Guy Raz.  This is probably the podcast I listen to the most next to Millennial Investing.  It consists of average 60min episodes where the host interviews some pretty big-name entrepreneurs like the creator of Dropbox, reCAPTCHA Duolingo, Panera Bread, Yelp, Five Guys, and even Shopify to name a few!  It’s really impressive the number of big-name entrepreneurs they’ve interviewed and how candid these individuals are about their journey, including all their struggles throughout the way.  Whether it’s someone from the food industry, to the clothing industry, to the tech industry and more, it always leaves me thinking something along the lines of ‘Wow that was not easy but they worked hard put themselves out there and with that formula saw their idea reach success.  If they can do it, I can do it too’.  I realized all these great products and ideas we use every day are coming from regular people just like you and me.  Normal people, not just geniuses or people born with a silver spoon in their mouth.  Normal people with a drive, who came up with a plan.  It grabs your attention and keeps it if your serious about entrepreneurship.  It can be found on Apple Podcast, Google Podcast, Spotify, NPR One to name a few.  Here’s a link to NPR One to save you some search time, https://www.npr.org/podcasts/510313/how-i-built-this .
